When I think of Bratislava in Slovakia, I think of playful sculptures, small cafés with heated terraces where you can sip a hot drink wrapped in a warm blanket. I also remember the wedding bells ringing for complete strangers. Once the banners had dispersed, the newly-wed couple caught my eye. A scene that spoke volumes, I thought: the groom pacing back and forth, clutching his cell phone, and the bride sitting in the car with a woman. On the wall, the words “Renovate me” and “Oops”. Enough to activate my creative neurons and tell me a story!
