I'm at a point in my life where there are good times, stimulating challenges and a schedule that's flexible enough to enjoy some quiet time when needed.
I remember very well, however, the years of my life when just thinking about taking a few minutes for myself was almost a utopia.
Thoughtful Enthusiasm is a tribute to the women, the mothers who know how to cope with their busy schedules and still find the time to instill a love of reading in their children. You know, the ones who take their kids to the bookstore or public library to pick up that well-deserved reward, a book?
When you think about it, it's a fundamental need to be able to express yourself in writing as well as orally, and learning to write is also about reading while discovering wonderful and inspiring stories.
As a young woman, I'd hide in the bathroom to read a few pages, or I'd read at night before going to sleep, cutting out hours of much-needed sleep.
Children are the best imitators of habits, so don't hesitate to make time for reading, ideally in front of them and at night!
